My Logo Design Process
Basically, an interview. I want to understand the goals of your business and what you want to achieve. I’ll ensure that the design is relevant to the objective and specific business not just because it looks cool or nice.
This contains the information gathered from the Discovery session such as – brand adjectives, brief description, the name, logo pegs, visuals to determine the overall look and feel of the brand that we will go for.
3. Sketching phase
This is the exciting part and also longest part of the process. This is where we exchange honest feedback to ensure the sketch comes out perfect. Typically, I present 3-5 sketch drafts and explanations.
This phase is where I refine the sketch that was agreed upon using Adobe Illustrator. Here, is where I try different lockup for the logo, clean it up and apply colors.
Once the digitized logo is approved, we’ll try it on different applications to better visualize the logo in the real world. Usual mockups are presented on packaging, business cards, and signages, etc.
6. Logo Guide
A short document that contains the information about the brand, the different lockup sets for the logo and basic information about proper usage and spacing. Don’t let your brand go astray, stay consistent.
It will be a pleasure to help you! Let's have a fun conversation.
